Perception

Today my favorite pastor preach about perception. He mention the same thing can happen with diff people and those with a pure heart will see the good in it but those with a evil heart will see the bad side. I understand his point but i do not fully agree with his statement.

To draw an example from my current situation, i join my current workplace with a hardworking attitude and trying my best to further the business in the restaurant, but there is this colleague that keep on causing me problem, and i would be foolish if i cant see an experience people like him will make such simple and obvious mistake. And there are too many times where i dive into a new environment with a pure intention to improve the environment but all i get is constant provocation from them to piss me off. I do not have an evil heart but i am also not foolish enough to not see when people are doing things intentionally to pull you down.

He had done this countless time, i really thought it was just a mistake the first few times until i cannot stand it anymore and start talking to him, but after few round of argument he still choose to do the same thing and giving all kind of excuses for things he do that causes me to make mistake. I am a perfectionist and i really do not like making mistake especially if is not my fault.

But because of my beloved pastor, i choose to follow his advice and try to live in God's way starting from next week. I will just choose to keep quiet when that wicked man causing me problem intentionally again to see how much conscience left in his wicked heart.

PS: Today is my pastor's birthday, i missed 2 chances to greet him Happy Birthday. Guess i am really not good at socializing, will do better next year.
