Joseph Yee Kee Lam

One of my life motto is "no one is perfect and the future is to prove that everyone can change!", hence I believe life is a process of constantly improving and perfecting our-self .

I managed to complete my final paper with UOL this November notwithstanding it is a tough year with the pandemic still going on and is waiting for my final result to be release now. Being placed under great pressure for the past few years having to hustle between part time job and finding enough time to hit on the books, I believe I have been taken to the next level. I am ready and looking forward to embark on a new journey in my life now which is to enroll in the CLP programme.

Although I realize that people-oriented skills is important in regards of working as a team with your colleagues, but i believe that there is a balance to be strike and the result is as important too. Being the more result-oriented type, I am taking full responsibility to the task assigned to me, having strong working ethic and keeping my eye on deadlines. Do not get me wrong, i do social too if i have spare time, after all there is a saying 'no man is an island', but for me, work always come first!

I am working as a legal clerk under the supervision of a experience master who is specialized in commercial litigation and conveyancing matter. I joined the firm without any experience, perhaps one can described me as a blank paper and my mentor is the artist who wield the pen.

I am having great passion in public law and hope to practice in human rights and criminal law one day. Although i am still not where i want to be, but i am working closer towards my goal everyday.
