First major incident of the year. Korean constitutional court removed impeached President Park Geun-hye from the office. The news circulate mentioning she might be
the first President charged under criminal law. The case is interesting to me for at least 3 practical reasons as a law student.
i) It is an event that demonstrate impeachment,
ii) It acknowledge the constitutional court's power to remove politician from office, and
iii) It demonstrate under what circumstances a president can lost his/her immunity.
Media describe Korea is like a living hell now, well look at the bright side, at least they still have Running-man to mitigate the spreading hatred :)
